Mount Louisa Walking Tracks

Townsville City Council have developed Mount Louisa with some amazing walking and hiking tracks. These walking and hiking tracks are just on your doorstep when living at Cosgrove Estate.

Stage 1 of the walking tracks are complete and Townville City Council are in the process of acquiring the land required for Stage 2 of the walking tracks. This will include many more kilometres of paths across Mount Louisa’s peaks and a linking road along the ridgeline which will connect through to Cosgrove Drive.

Bohle River Nature Reserve

Cosgrove is bordered by over 2km of natural river bank of the Bohle River.

A myriad of running and walking tracks weave this nature reserve and the wetlands, natural lagoons and paperbark forests within it.

The Cosgrove Community, in partnership with Landcare Townsville hold regular volunteer days where the community care for the river and enhance its natural qualities.
