The Intersection will be closed for traffic from June 2026 - January 2027.

The Weston / Woolcock Street Signalised Intersection project involves to upgrade the existing unsignalised at-grade intersection to a signalised intersection, improving access from Woolcock Street (multi-lane divided arterial road) to Weston Street (a single lane undivided sub arterial road).

The signalised intersection will have street lighting and signalised pedestrian crossings on all four approaches.

As part of the growth for the Cosgrove Estate and the requirement to deliver the extension of the existing road network into Cosgrove, Parkside Development is upgrading the intersection inorder to deliver over 1,600 new homes, with the immediate delivery of 151 lots within the latest precinct.
